Words vs Actions
A word. Words.
A sentence. Sentences. Lyrics. An expression. Expressions.
Action. Actions.
Taking an action. Taking a step. Act upon something.
The shortest
answer is doing.
There was a
difference between what you said and what you did.
Show me, don’t
tell me.
Do not wish
it was easier, wish you were better!
Characterize
people by their actions, and you will never be fooled by their words!
Our actions
are who we are; our words are who we hope to be.
We have too
many high sounding words, and too few actions that correspond with them.
Words may
lie, but actions will always tell the truth.
You can say
sorry a million times, say I love you as much as you want, say whatever you
want, whenever you want. But if you are not going to prove that the things you
say are true, then don’t say anything at all because if you cannot show it,
your words don’t mean a thing.
Sometimes the
words can hurt more than the physical pain.
What words
have you spoken recently?
What actions
have you taken recently?
Have you been
diligent with your words?
Have you
been diligent with your actions?
Are you the
sort of person who speaks at every single opportunity yet with not real actions
to back it up with?
Have you
done today something for someone who will never be able to repay it to you?
I myself
have been willingly keen on keeping my words. Not to promise anything that I feel
I was not ready or able to fulfil yet. Being proactive rather than reactive is
the name of the game here. And yes, of course, I have been still making
mistakes along the way and learning from them simultaneously. And I have still
so much to learn, so much to do, so much to finish, so much to go.
What sort of
people have you been keeping in touch?
What sort of
people have you been relating to?
What sort of
people have you been staying in contact?
What sort of
people have you contacted recently?
What sort of
people have you been with on the same wavelength?
What sort of
people have you been connecting with most recently?
What sort of
people have you been feeling like at home with?
What sort of
people have you been there for them at any time, at any moments, in any place
whatsoever?
What sort of
people have they been there for you at any time, at any moments, in any place
whatsoever?
What sort of
people have you been enjoying their company most, the most recently?
What sort of
people have you been most clicking with for the most of the time?
What sort of
people have you been forming the master mind with the most, for the most of the
time?
What sort of
people have you been a mutual mind with the most, for the most of the time?
What role do
they play in your life and what role have you been playing in their lives?
Now, we all
realize that we cannot build the castles on empty words only. There needs to be
a willing hand, a pot and clay, some ideas thrown in, a lot of patience, plenty
of time, an effort to be put in, love, hope, believe, faith and much, much
more!
Who does
mean well with you?
Have you
been sick and tired of people around you telling you things and sweet nothings and
you so know in your heart of hearts that they words mean close to nothing?
Who can you
possibly trust the most? Is it your family? Is it your friends? Is it your
co-workers? Is it your best friend? Is it your teacher? Is it your mate? Is it
your wife? Is it your husband? Is it your spouse? Is it your neighbour? Is it
your child? Is it your parent/parents? Is it your sister? Is it your brother? Is
it your cousin? Is it your nephew? Is it your soul mate? Is it your kindred
spirit?
Feeling of
safety and security is so important, it is so vital, especially in this world.
People
feel insecure, lonely and alone. And no, it is not an easy task to find a
person you can totally and absolutely trust and feel like you can share with
this person your inner most dreams, ambitions, aspirations, worries, troubles,
challenges, good days and bad days, etc.
How would
you recognize in your opinion a person worth fighting for?
Do they have
a sing on their forehead telling you so?
How would
you describe a responsible and trustworthy person?
Who would
you invite in your close circle and you would you rather prefer leave out?
Who do you
need? Who do you not need?
Who needs
you??
Whose actions
speak louder than their words?
Have you
yourself been the best of all examples to others and those around you?
Have you
lost it once or twice on the occasions?
What did you
do right afterwards when you realize you had made a mistake, you had said
something that should be left alone by itself? Did you go and apologize? Or did
you say nothing at all and took the action in order to prove to the very person
what they mean to you and what sort of person you are?
Have you
given an advice to somebody on such a topic?
No matter
what we do, no matter what we say, the right people will recognize the like - minded
folks. They will still keep on looking until they bump into them.
Can you
prove yourself by actions rather than by plain words on their own?
From your very
own perspective, what ignites in you if you hear
somebody talk about a certain topic?
From your
very own perspective, what ignites in you if you see somebody do something about a certain challenge?
There’s a crack, a crack in everything,
that’s how the light gets in ~ Leonard Cohen.
(1013 words)
actions do speak louder than words. Sometimes though no matter how hard you try to be active you come up against a wall of words.
