How specific can you
get??!
How specific
can you get with your goals?
How specific
can you get with your dreams?
How specific
can you get with your ambitions?
Everything
starts with your thought.
The Art of
Asking. Ask intelligently. Ask with faith.
Define and
describe.
The more
specific you get with your goals, with your dreams, with your ambitions, the
better.
We all have
been going after what we want, perhaps even what we need in our life.
Sometimes our dreams come true and sometimes, however, they take a little longer to come to
their fulfilment. Why is it that sometimes it works and at other times it has
been having a difficulty?
I believe
the answer may lay in how we go about the whole process. What is the way we ask
for that special and particular thing? What do we say or not say or how we go
about describing the very person of our dreams?
Have we been
making a list with all the characteristic traits included that we wish to see
in our dream mate and a partner?
Have we been
making a list with all the points and a décor and a colour and a material and a
smell and a noise it is going to make, and all the other attribute of our dream
house? How about the garden? Would you like to also own a garage? How big and large is your garden and your
house and your patio and your garage? Are you also the proud owner of a
sprinkler system?
Have you
been making a list of your car of your wildest dreams? What brand is it? How speedy
it gets? What colour is it? How does it smell inside? How about the interior? Are
the seats made out of leather? How many doors does it have? How much would you
be willing to purchase it for? Who would be the favourite person of yours you
would love to be seeing sitting next to your driver’s seat? How would you feel
while sitting inside? How would you feel while listening to music and driving
at the same time? How would you feel while driving other people on long
journeys? Would you allow drinking and eating there?
Have you
been writing your list down of all the possessions you would like to have and
be the owner of?
Have you
been making a list of all the personal characteristics and skills and abilities
and traits and physical attributes you would like your body to have and own and
be in a possessions of? How would you like to look like? How would you like
your body to feel? How would you like to exercise your body? In what kind of
foods would you like your body to be indulging in? What sort of drinks would
you like your body to be thirsty? What kind of books would you like to mind to
be hungry for? What kind of people would you like to surround yourself for and
be starving for to meet and make friends with on a daily basis?
Would you be
willing to make a list of all the qualities you would want your life to be
wrapped around? Can you make a list of all those things that you will no longer
be willing to settle for? Can you make a list of all the things that you cannot
and do not and wish not to carry on doing any longer and any more? Can you make
a list of everything that you have had enough of? Can you make a list of
anything that you cannot stand anymore, any longer? Can you make a list of everything
that you no longer can take?
Have you
been making a list of anything that you have been sick and tired and sick and
tired of being sick and tired?
Is there a
specific thing, anything that you would love to own and have and possess?
How specific
would you be able to go, to get, to conclude everything with?
Can you put
the name to the shape of that very particular thing?
Can you put
the name to the colour of that very particular thing?
Can you put
the name to the taste of that very particular thing?
Can you put
the name to the feeling of that very particular thing?
Can you put
the name to the date of achieving and enquiring that very particular thing?
Can you put
the name to the number of the things of that particular thing that you would
love to get your hands on?
Can you put
the name to the size of that very particular thing?
Can you put
the name to the sound of that very particular thing?
Can you put
the name to the look of that very particular thing?
Can you put
the name to the sensation of that very particular thing?
Is there a
person you would like to get involved in in this very special experiment of
yours?
Would you be
able to think of something else to help you in making this a reality?
Whatever we
ask for, we will get. We may not necessarily get all that we want, but yet we
sure are going to get exactly what we need in order to learn, in order to
evolve.
There should
also be a note to get to know and that is that be very careful and caution
about what you are asking for, as you may as well get that at the end.
So, have you
been clear about anything your mind and a thought have created? How about the
setting? How about the timing? How about the people involved or not? How about
yourself? Is there or are there things that you need to learn and enquire
before you embark on your personal journey of discovery what is possible and even
impossible?
Also, what it
is as significant as being specific as much as you can possibly get is the fact
and the act of putting everything down on the paper.
So, let us
take our papers and pens out and get busy!! J
