I just
set them free…….
Yesterday I went
on a date. We had an amazing time together, enjoyed each other’s company, and
laughed a lot along the way while going on the drive and enjoying the spectaculars
views of Dun Laoghaire. We do have a connection.
While walking
and talking and chatting and some more walking and talking and chatting and all
that in between, we came across to a boy/a man who was in the middle of an
activity, a very profound one, a very interesting one, a very enjoyable one.
We all were
standing on the rocks above the sea level and looking down at the sea.
This boy/man
had bait put down in the sea in which the bacon was trapped and he was simply
trying to get and catch a crab. A big white crab.
While he was
doing what he was doing, we were having a conversation with him and between us.
We went back and forth. We were asking him questions. I asked him how long he
had been there already.
At one point
I asked him the following question: ‘And what are you going to do with this
crab once you caught him’? To which he replied that he would just let him go,
he would just let him go free, he would just set him free back into the wild
open sea again.
And I liked
his answer. And I begin being fascinated by the whole incident.
How many
times do we hold people prisoners in our own heart?
How many
times do we hold ourselves prisoners in our very own heart?
What is it
about setting ourselves free?
What is it
about setting others free?
What is
there to gain?
What is
there for us?
What is
there for our prisoner?
Are we doing
if just for a pure joy of it?
Are we just
having fun?
Are we just
enjoying the moment?
Are we just
embracing the whole act?
Are we just
capturing the whole incident?
Are we just
grateful for the entire process?
Are we just
in awe of the whole thing?
Is it not
beautiful how the nature never rushes yet everything is finished, everything is
done, everything is completed, everything is accomplished?
What is
there for us if we decided to keep our catch, to keep our treasure?
Is it just
the feeling we are after?
Is it just
the scenery we are hungry for?
Is it just
the sense we gain by doing so?
Is it just
the fleeting moment that has been given to us by taking such an action?
Is it just
the sensation we are craving for?
Is it just
the delicatesy we are starving for?
Whatever the
main reason is, we certainly have one.
We are all
individuals.
We are all
characters.
We are all
creatures.
We are all
love.
We are all
conscious beings.
We are all
souls.
Any and
every single person would look for his/her own meaning of releasing the
captured soul, the captured individual, the captured character, the captured
creature, the captured love, the captured conscious being.
What would
you choose to do?
Would you
let go?
Would you
let free?
Would you
let go and free?
Would you
set free?
Would you
release?
What do you
think how would you feel right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think how would you adjust right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you do right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you say right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you teach right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you learn right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you talk about right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you chat about right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you sense right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you write about right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you sing about right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you paint about right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you share right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you appreciate right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you adore right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you love right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you cherish right afterwards of doing so?
What do you
think what would you like right afterwards of doing so?
Would you
share your active act of kindness with somebody?
Would you be
interested in sharing your experience?
Would you be
interested in sharing your story?
What would
do it for you?
Would you
feel proud of yourself right afterwards of doing so?
Would you
feel engrossed right afterwards of doing so?
Would you
feel energized right afterwards of doing so?
Would you
feel grateful right afterwards of doing so?
Would you
feel loved right afterwards of doing so?
Would you
feel appreciative right afterwards of doing so?
Would you
feel empowered right afterwards of doing so?
Would you
feel happiness right afterwards of doing so?
Would you
feel release right afterwards of doing so?
Would you
feel admiration for yourself right afterwards of doing so?
If you
really, really want to love someone, to really adore someone, to really
appreciate someone, to really cherish someone, to really like someone, you must
love them then in such a way that the other person feels completely and utterly
free. Free from yourself.
If you love
someone, set them free. If they return back to you, they were always yours. If they
do not return, they never were meant to be with you in the first place.
Set them
free. Set them free! Set them free!!
