The
Rocking Chair Test
Are you up for a challenge?
Are you ready to take a
test? (no examination meant, to marks given!)
You are going to be your
very own a Teacher AND a Student??
What does the Rocking Chair
Test tell us?
Many of us are afraid to
follow our passions, to pursue what we want most because it means taking risks
and even facing failure. But to pursue your passion with all your heart and
soul is success in itself. The greatest failure is to have never really tried.
People achieve success when they take a leap of
faith and face what they don’t know and move forward with fierce determination.
The true fact states as it
is that we most regret things that we did not do rather than those that we did!
The Rocking Chair Test simply
says and talks about how we are going to feel when the time comes when we turn
to be 80 or 90 or 100 years old (young!) and when we are going to reflect back
on our life journey.
Are we going to regret
something that we did not do?
Are we going to regret
something that we did not say to someone?
Are we going to regret
anything when we did not speak up?
Are we going to regret that
we did not talk and think the right things?
Are we going to regret
anything at all?
Are we going to be lonely?
Are we going to be sad?
Are we going to be sick and
tired?
Are we going to have no
friends at all?
Are we going to feel weak?
Or
Are we going to be proud of
ourselves?
Are we going to pat
ourselves on our back and say: ’Well done!’?
Are we going to feel
satisfaction?
Are we going to be happy?
Are we going to be healthy (thanks
to our healthy eating habits and exercise regime)?
Are we going to live with
someone and with the loved ones close to us?
Are we going to be cheerful?
Are we going to be
surrendered by friends?
Are we going to be strong?
It is your and only your
life! You decide on the best approach to attack it! Your choice.
The time to
plan your future in 10- year time, or more or less, is NOW!!
Let only good things come
your way – you have the power in your very hands!
What are you going to do
NOW??
