by Marianne
Williamson in “A Return To Love”
Our deepest fear is
not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear
is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I
to be brilliant and gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
Actually who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people
won’t feel insecure around you.
We are meant to shine as children do.
We were born to make manifest
the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some of us: it’s in everyone.
And, as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.

overwhelming odds." ~Orison Swett Marden

v How can you fly? You
create your own wings! How can you create your own wings? Keep dreaming and dreaming
and dreaming!
v In order for you to
create anything in your life, you must first dream or imagine it. Whether you
are aware of it or not, you constantly use your imagination. You either
continually ‘awfulize’ and ‘catastophize’ and dream up your worst
nightmares through worry, fear and anger. Or you use your imagination to aspire
to the highest of your potential through faith, hope, love and dreaming big.
v Since you are always
imagining or dreaming about something, why not make it a dream that is truly
big, worthwhile and of greatest value to you and to others.
v “Our beginnings never
know our ends.” —T.S. Eliot
v You get to choose
what you focus on and what you get in life. You choose whether you learn to
glide and fly or whether you struggle and crawl through life! You get to create
your own wings or your own crutches! And the real “neat” thing about all this
is that once you learn to fly you learn that, “the sky is no longer the limit,”
only YOU were!
v {The Notebook} The
best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that
plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. That’s what I hope
to give you forever.
v "One hour per day of study will put you at
the top of your
field within three years. Within five years you'll be a national authority. In seven years, you can be one of the best people in the world at what you do."
