Do
NOT burn ALL your Bridges.
Do
you see things only as black and white??
Are
you playing YES or NO game or SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN?
Are
you viewing opportunities as only my way OR a high way?
I
can see it as:
-YES
-
NO
-
MAYBE
We
always have a choice. Always! No matter what!
What
we do with it is all that matters!! YES!
We
all do our best with the resources at hand and at the particular
moment.
The
today’s topic can be applied to any relationship. From employee and
employers, friendships, co-workers, ex lovers, siblings, flatmates,
business partners, teacher and student relation, neighbours, landlord
vs. tenant, husband and wife, boyfriends, girlfriends to school
mates, etc. etc.
It
is so easy to slip, so easy to be tempted, so easy to stick our
tongue out and do our own thing. However, people have feelings as
much as we have!
The
person to whom we have just told off could have been our tomorrow’s
best friend! Or your employer! Or you soul-mate (whatever that means
to you!)! Or someone who could have saved your/our life in 2 weeks’
time!
It
always makes more sense to finish on a peaceful note, not to have any
resentments toward each other, not to hold any grudges with one
another, to end on speaking terms, if possible!
There
is no need to be enemies. Actually we should strive to work things
out to the advantage and benefit to both parties. Let us be open and
look for the intentions of the other person. If we are really, really
willing to search for these, we WILL find them, we WILL be
successful!
I
have had relationships that came, some have gone and some I am
currently in. I have been the sort of person who is curious about
people, investing in them and believing in them. Some of them have
made a lasting impression on me, some ‘just’ scratched the
surface (such as a bank teller, however I am interested in being
great friends, of course!). Nevertheless, in my eyes, they have come
into my life for a reason and that make me think and decide to treat
every one of them in a special way.
