We rise by lifting others!!

We rise by lifting others!!

In the moments when we feel low and perhaps sad and stressed out and lonely and alone and depressed and upset and angry and not in our own skin, disappointed and overwhelmed and over-rushed, and over-everything, when things do go the way we hoped for them to go, when things did not go the way we predicted for them to be finished as, when friends turn their backs on us, when boss does not seem to understand you, when he keeps stacking more and more work on top of the last one, when homework is not beings finished again and again and over and over as it was meant to be done and finished by, when family is against you, when your own family, siblings, brothers, sisters, children, husbands, wives, spouses are not or do not seem to be there for you at the times of your greatest need, when neighbour’s dog is still barking loudly every night, all night, even though you had had a discussion about this very particular matter with your neighbour times and times again, when your housemate or flatmate does not appreciate your hard work, when your housemate or flatmate does not respect the house, the apartment, you, your privacy, your belongings, when students do not do their homework, when they do not hand in the assignment on time when needed and required, when teachers keep giving you more and more homework to do, when teachers keep reminding you of all you examinations coming up and you just keep forgetting them time and time again and again and over and over, when your shop keeper and shop assistant keep giving you the wrong change and now you are short on change and you are not able to keep your obligation to your friend about returning him his deposit, and when you just feel so sick and tired of being sick and tired over and over and not knowing what to do, where to turn for a help, a listening ear, a helping hand, a reassurance, the appreciation, the understanding, the time, the patience, the loving gesture, when things just go from bad to worse, when things go from sweet to sour, when things just seem to go nothing but ugly, when the worst possible scenarios have been running themselves over and over, when the most possible outcomes that you have hoped not to have happened keeps repeating themselves over and over again and again, when the moments and the situations that you so desperately wanted to go good, good and even better seemed to have gone viral and playing themselves totally, completely and utterly against you, when you are at the end of your very own wits, when all the gardening and harvesting and weeding and digging and shovelling and hovering and picking and collecting and stocking and putting away and tidying and moving aside and collaborating and thinking and doing and making and pleading and hard-working and sawing and mowing and everything all in between have been coming to waste without you even noticing its speed. When the mail got lost on its way to a recipient, when the postman have or could or been unable to deliver your letter or a postcard, when your diet has gone awry, when you feel sluggish and empty and without any energy, when exercising is the last thing on your mind, when you experience physical pain, when you are hurting, when your entire body is in a pain, when doctors prescribe you pills and medicine you dislike or hate or cannot stand or do not want to use, when all this fails and does not work and does not help you at all, when the meeting have been cancelled, when the school reunion did not go as predicted in your mind, when things fall apart in every imaginable way possible, when the chat did not go the way you so desperately wanted it to go, when the loved or dear or close one is in pain and it hurts them and you so much and you have no idea of how to go about helping them out, when the garden bugs and pests keep pestering you, when the lector at the university keeps failing showing up, keeps correcting the home assignments, when your old buddy or a school sweetheart or a friend have forgotten your name, your birthday or even your very own face, when the writing you must finish does not seem to go as well, when the song you have been working on does not feel and seem just right yet, when your computers crashes, when your logic board fails, when you have no internet connection whatsoever, when you have no milk for your coffee, when you are out of your favourite brand of green tea, when you start losing your hair, when your nails brittle, when your skin is covered with rashes, when you spill an orange juice on your very own and favourite blouse or a top or a trousers, when you kind find your key or a mp3 player, when your headphones do not work and you have no way of listening to music, when your fingers hurt from all that texting, when someone cheats on you, when there is no party at all on Saturday night, when you have not been invited, when all your friends are out of country, when there are not Christmas gifts for you underneath the Christmas tree, when your teeth hurt and you obviously dread going to the dentist, when you just cannot seem to get things together, when it seems as if your whole world collapses and falls apart, falls down,….

What do you do on those occasions?

Where do you turn for a help on those occasions?

Where do you go in order to ask for a help on those occasions?

Who could possibly provide you with the helping hand?

Who could possibly provide you with the listening ear?

I will tell you what: go back to the title!!

We rise by lifting others!

Lift someone else’s challenge off the ground and you rise yourself!!!
