JUDGEMENT

JUDGEMENT

Have you been judgemental recently? Of whom? Of what? What was the reason? What was the purpose?

Do you judge others?

Do you judge yourself?

What is there to judge?

Are you judging people? According to what, according to whom?

Is there anything to be judged?

Is there a reason to be judgemental? Ever?

What is the most important thing to you in your life??

The stages, popularly known by the acronym DABDA, include:

Denial — "I feel fine."; "This can't be happening, not to me."

Anger —  "Why me? It's not fair!"; "How can this happen to me?"; '"Who is to blame?"

Bargaining — "I'll do anything for a few more years."; "I will give my life savings if..."

Depression — "I'm so sad, why bother with anything?"; "I'm going to die soon so what's the point?"; "I miss my loved one, why go on?"

Acceptance — "It's going to be okay."; "I can't fight it, I may as well prepare for it."

Looking for your Bigger VISION...

Looking for your Bigger VISION...

ü Did you find your vision?

ü Have you found your vision yet?

ü Are you searching / looking for your very vision?
…………………………………………………………………………

Ø Something that is BIGGER, BOLDER, GREATER THAN YOU?!

Ø Something that awakens your soul?

Ø Something that excites you?

Ø Something that represents you?

Ø Something that goes deeper?

Ø Something that makes you stay up late at night?

Ø Something that makes you really truly happy?

Ø Something that benefits others?

Ø Something that servers the greater good?

Ø Something that you can be proud of?

Ø Something that makes you smile?

Ø Something that makes you cry, too?

Ø Something that is going to leave a legacy?

Ø Something that reaches far beyond any horizon you have ever imagined?

v We need a vision to make us stronger!

v We need a vision to shape us!

v We need a vision to develop us!

v We need a vision to help us grow!

v We need a vision to become more kind!

v We need a vision to become more loving!

v We need a vision to thrive!

v We need a vision to learn!

v We need a vision to teach!

v We need a vision to embrace!

Expatriate

Expatriate

An expatriate (in abbreviated form, expat) is a person temporarily or permanently residing in a country and culture other than that of the person's upbringing. The word comes from the Latin terms ex ("out of") and patria ("country, fatherland").

In its broadest sense, an expatriate is any person living in a different country from where he is a citizen. In common usage, the term is often used in the context of professionals sent abroad by their companies, as opposed to locally hired staff. The differentiation found in common usage usually comes down to socio-economic factors, so skilled professionals working in another country are described as expatriates, whereas a manual labourer who has moved to another country to earn more money might be labelled an 'immigrant'. There is no set definition and usage does vary depending on context and individual preferences and prejudices. 'Expatriation' has also been used in a legal sense to mean 'renunciation of allegiance;' the U.S. Expatriation Act of 1868 said in its preamble, 'the right of expatriation is a natural and inherent right of all people, indispensable to the enjoyment of the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.'

In the 19th century and early 20th century, many Americans, numbering perhaps in the thousands, were drawn to European cultural centers, especially Munich and Paris. The author Henry James, for instance, adopted England as his home while Ernest Hemingway lived in Paris.

The term 'expatriate' in some countries also has a legal context used for tax purposes. An expatriate living in a country can receive a favourable tax treatment. In this context a person can only be an expatriate if they move to a country other than their own to work with the intent of returning to their home country within a certain period. The number of years can vary per tax jurisdiction, but 5 years is the most commonly used maximum period. If you are not affected by taxes 3 years is normally the maximum time spent in one country.

SOCIAL PROOF

SOCIAL PROOF

Social proof, also known as informational social influence, is a psychological phenomenon where people assume the actions of others in an attempt to reflect correct behaviour for a given situation. This effect is prominent in ambiguous social situations where people are unable to determine the appropriate mode of behaviour, and is driven by the assumption that surrounding people possess more knowledge about the situation.

The effects of social influence can be seen in the tendency of large groups to conform to choices which may be either correct or mistaken, a phenomenon sometimes referred to as herd behaviour. Although social proof reflects a rational motive to take into account the information possessed by others, formal analysis shows that it can cause people to converge too quickly upon a single choice, so that decisions of even large groups of individuals may be grounded in very little information (see information cascades).

Social proof is a type of conformity. When a person is in a situation where they are unsure of the correct way to behave, they will often look to others for cues concerning the correct behaviour. When "we conform because we believe that other's interpretation of an ambiguous situation is more accurate than ours and will help us choose an appropriate course of action," it is informational social influence. This is contrasted with normative social influence wherein a person conforms to be liked or accepted by others.

Social proof often leads not just to public compliance (conforming to the behaviour of others publicly without necessarily believing it is correct) but private acceptance (conforming out of a genuine belief that others are correct). Social proof is more powerful when being accurate is more important and when others are perceived as especially knowledgeable.

'Why do we always know when it's too late'?

'Why do we always know when it's too late'?

Recently I have asked a friend of mine I encountered to challenge me and pick a topic for me to write about. And my new friend was willing and kind enough to oblige! J The above subject is what he came up with and I took the bull by the horns and jumped on the wagon and begin my writing and typing away…..

Here is what my solution to his posing question/statement sounds like:

The first time I read my ‘assignment’ I was literally taken aback.

The reason for that is that to me the expressions, such as ‘always’ and ’never’ are rarely in my own vocabulary. And the very reason for that is that those words are especially used for the ultimate terms where no other option is available.
No other way is possible.

And that to me is very straightforward, very direct. I personally believe to be very open-minded person who welcomes challenges and new things and possibilities into my life.

That being said, I was eager to proceed and dig deep down and explore the subject more and more. As I was typing away and enjoying the thrill of the writing, all of a sudden, it struck me. The whole concept of this question is already destined. What do I mean by that? Hmm, let us see:

The question itself is okay on its own terms. However, if you were just about to ask this question to someone, it would show up. And what is that, you ask? It is simple.

We call this type of question pre supposing one. The meaning of it is that this already tells you that SOMETHING IS ALREADY DONE, SOMETHING HAS ALREADY HAPPEN (even without you doing any business of your own, without any notice).

And the circle continues….

Well, I could go on and on but I assume you are following me here, and you are here with me on the same page.

So… I would try to twist and twirl my task and get as much juice out of it as possible! J

Well, frankly, I do not think there is any reason whatsoever that something is already destined to be (already!) late.

What are the other options here?

Everything happens for a reason and that reason is always for our very own good. Here would be one of the instances I would go ahead and use the expressions always here.

Why would we be looking into the future with the eyes and mind closed to the possibilities that may lay ahead in front of us?

Why be so closed hearted and options limited?

We need to edit and makes some adjustments here!!! Desperately, that is! J

What else is there to say and do?!?

Remind yourself of what has worked in the past!

Look fear into the eye!

To close it, I would like to end on a less (!?) significant note:

Being comfortable not knowing everything is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. We'll never know everything and we don't have to! Ah, what a relief! Learning to be open to all the possibilities that life has to offer us takes practice. Often, we couldn't have even dreamed up the blessings that we deserve. In order to receive them, we must be fully willing and open to surrender our expectations. Sometimes we don't even know that we're closed off.  It can be as simple as getting stuck in a rut.

When this feeling happens, we have to shift gears and try something new. With newness comes change, and often inspiration and guidance to our truest and most meaningful path. A visual representation of this that I like is to remove the fences (or sometimes massive stone walls) that have been built up around our minds. The walls come in the form of expectations, silly excuses and judgement. Let those walls crumble! Be open to WONDER.

So, what do you think now?
What is your take on?
It is what you make of it!

Thank you!!

As good as it gets!!! :-)

As good as it gets!!! J

·        Is complaining of any use to anyone? In any way?

·        Is there a way out of it?

·        Are we determined enough?

·        Are we committed enough?

·        Are we willing enough?

·        Do we know what to do in this situation, or any situation for that matter?

·        Are we curious enough?

·        Are we teachable?

·        Is there something, anything to regret? What is that? Why is that?

I have recently learned a lesson from life itself as if they are in some other zillion and even more zillion instances.

Everything that has ever happened to us had happened for a reason.

That being said, that reason is always for our very good.

I have taken a little time off from blogging in order to ‘get myself back in the zone’, adjust to any circumstances reappearing in my life lately time and time again and hopefully share some insights from my learning here with you. So, I am Returning back to my regular pregnancy of articles and posts and ideas and my personal blogging of my own life journey.

Yes, life is really beautiful and unpredictable. And in a case that something did not happen – well it was not meant to happen in the first place. As simple and as plain as that! J Sounds good?

That would be just about it. That is its sole purpose. Pretty much sums it all in a few words.

This blog post of mine must (MUST!) take a big turnaround, a big, huge SHIFT of gears.

I have been connecting with many people recently who have been making a huge impact on me, in many ways. Lots of those folks are very creative creatures indeed! Connecting that is happening in very profound, deep, soul based, amazing ways.

So many times we fight the existing reality, instead of rejoicing in it and embracing it. Is it Hard or Simple as it may sound to you, to me, to everyone, to anyone out there in the world of ours or what?!?

What can we do to improve ourselves, to improve and to make better the situation we find ourselves in, the community we serve, the world we live in?

What can we learn from every encounter we get involved in, from every situation, every circumstance, every person, every meeting, every song, every article, every picture, ANY smile, every taste, every smell, every hug, any story?

How to go about defining and initiating and resolving this challenge?

Is the domino effect and / or the butterfly effect in action here?

Are we going to accept it or fight against it?

Because in reality like it or not IT IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS…………………………….

OH YEAH!!!

What do YOU think ??
