Yes, indeed. In some circumstances, it is not always easy to be strong or kind or brave.

It requires a great character.

It requires a great personality.

It requires life lessons.

It requires maturity.

It requires time.

It reqires energy.

It requires patience.

It requires love.

It requires kindness.

It requires bravery.

It requires strength.

And last, but not least, it requires you!

I am sure each one of us can picture and/or imagine a scenerio, a situation that is in some way a real challenge, it is just simply challenging for us to overcome it.

It those times, we really are being challenged as best as we possibly could!

It makes us even a better human being, like a diamond being sharpened into a 'perfection'.

The same goes for me, and you, and him and her and others..

There is no way to escape it!

safety vs. Adventure


Would you rather be in a group of a 'safety'?

Or would you prefer being in a group of an 'adventure'?

Where would you feel more at home?

Where would you feel more lonely/alone?

And what about the medium path?

We all have a tendendy to feel and to be situated in a safety nest.

And then, of course, we do have a tendendy and a feeling for an adventure, etc.

Some of us might be more inclined towards the safety of the thing.

And then, also, some of us might be more inclined towards the adventurous part of the thing.

What could safety represent for us?
The feeling of being calm, being at home, being happy, being healthy, being loved, being cared for, being appreciated, being that kind of a person who matters a lot to others, being heard, being valued, being yourself, being authentic, being satisfied, being well rested, relaxed, chilled, and more!

And what could adventure represent for us?
The feeling of being a little at unease, being not sure of ourselves, of our future, of our plans, of our friends and family, of our loved one, of our lover, travelling, exploring new things, new places, new locations, new people, new jobs, going on adventures to the places we have never even been to before, tasting new things, experiencing many new things for us, trying something/anything new, for us not experienced yet, and more!

Where would you put yourself? Into which group? Would you like to change that, and if so, why so?

Has it happened to you before?


When the day finally arrives and you have no ideas whatsoever what and/or who to expect to come, to show up, to appear on a certain day.


How do you prepare yourself for it?


What do you make out of it?


Would you stay calm or panic?


Would you try to be and stay the best possible and authentic version of yourself?


Can you plan as you go along?


Can you have a 'plan B' in your head in a case that things do not work out as well as you hoped for?


Can you picture/imagine the worst case scenerio and then work out the best solutions for solving it, in the case of this happening?


Would you appreciate the spontaneous aspect of it all?


Would you enjoy the unpredictability of it all?


Would you look forward to the 'wow' effect?


Would you be just a little bit nervous before?

You can see the entire staircase and yet, you would still need to go up one step at a time, a step by a step.


Simply, you eat the whole elephant in a way that you take a bite by a bite.


The same goes for any project that you are currently working on.


Or the same goes for any project that you are currently undertaking.


The same is with your life. A lesson after a lesson. Teaching after teaching. Step by step. One step at a time.

Holding space is the process of witnessing and validating someone else’s emotional state while simultaneously being present to your own.”

It means that we are willing to walk alongside another person in whatever journey they’re on without judging them, making them feel inadequate, trying to fix them, or trying to impact the outcome. When we hold space for other people, we open our hearts, offer unconditional support, and let go of judgement and control.

At one time or another, someone in our lives will need a space held that is loving, nonjudgmental, and empathetic. When that time comes, the relationship you already have will provide a foundation for building this so-called “container” in which you hold space for the other person. If you accept the challenge, your desire to be of service to the other person will be the first building block for holding that sacred space.

Holding space for another person is incredibly profound.
When you hold space for someone, you bring your entire presence to them.
You walk along with them without judgment, sharing their journey to an unknown destination. Yet you’re completely willing to end up wherever they need to go. You give your heart, let go of control, and offer unconditional support.
And when you do, both of you heal, grow, and transform.
The interesting thing about this term is that we aren’t actually “holding” anything.

It’s about being fully present with the experience. Holding space is viewing someone without judgment and seeing him or her through loving kindness. Holding space is recognizing that although we all may stumble, we are all also so powerful.
Holding space is like holding the door open for someone to walk through to experience a new model of the world. Instead of feeling like the walls are caving in, holding space literally gives breathing room to express, open up, and simply be where we are.
What we are really doing when we hold space is nothing but pure acceptance—of ourselves, of others, and of the moment.
Holding space doesn’t have to involve anyone else physically being there with us or listening to us directly. You can each hold space for yourself. When you are going through something big (or seemingly small), you can hold space for yourself by tapping into self-compassion.
