We accept the love we think we deserve

We accept the love we think we deserve

That is such a profound statement and it goes even deeper when we realize what is meant by it and if only if and when we apply it to our own lives and the ones of our near, dear, loved and close ones.

Even more so when it is us and / or our loved, near, dear and close ones who is involved.

Is there someone near and close to you who is trying so hard and perhaps so desperately to be nice and kind and loving and good enough to you, someone who is so good at heart, someone who has been trying to reach out to you for some time now, a long time, actually, by doing and saying all the things that this person assumes you would appreciate and take in and understand because you are so connected on a deeper, soul level and he / she so care about you, so much so that his / her actions speak louder than the words. He / she is obviously very smitten by you, very much, so much, indeed.

What kind of person have you been attracting into your life?

Is that the kind / sort of person who wish to spend the majority, the rest of your life, the rest of your time with?

If so, why is that?

If not, why is that?

Are you being the very person yourself you wished to invite into your life, into your world, into your heart, into your soul, into your mind, into your body?

What sort of person would it take to attract and invite into your life for the time being, for good at its very best?

Are you in love at the moment?

Have you been in loving someone deeply, with all your heart, unconditionally?

Have you been loved in return?

How does that feel?

Or are you single and longing for that special, deep and soul connection with someone who you feel as if being on the same wavelength?

What is your story?

Are you afraid of loving someone so deeply, so unconditionally, so much that it makes your head spin around?

Are you afraid of being in love?

Are you afraid of being loved by someone in return?

What does love mean to you at all?

We are here for a reason. We all have a purpose to fulfil. We are love. We are here to share love. We are here to spread love. Love is our purpose, reason for being here. If we are love, we also attract love. Loving someone so much, so deeply, so honestly, so unconditionally, so entirely gives us strength, being loved by someone so much, so deeply, so honestly, so unconditionally, so entirely gives us confidence. On what part are you yourself at right now at this very moment? Are you being loved and are you being loving towards someone special in your life?

Do you have your very own special person / a mate made in heaven in your mind of what he/she should sound like, look like, behave like, act like, speak like, etc.?

Do you have your very own person / a mate made in hell in your mind of what he/she should not sound like, look like, behave like, act like, speak like, etc.?

How would you know you have attracted this very special person for yourself?

How would you know you have met this very special person for yourself?

How would you know you have discovered this very special person for yourself?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be loving?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be giving?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be happy?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be honest?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be positive?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be there for you?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be family oriented?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be playful?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be hard working?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be confident?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be ambitious?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be goal-oriented?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be friendly?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be well travelled?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be caring?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be attentive?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be mindful?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be proactive?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be curious?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be courageous?

Do you think honestly in your heart of hearts that the person best suited to you should be passionate?

What it would take for yourself to recognize these qualities within you?!

Everyone you meet is your mirror.
Period.

First laughed at/ridiculed, then opposed and then finally the truth to be accepted as the truth.

First laughed at/ridiculed, then opposed and then finally the truth to be accepted as the truth.

Have you ever had someone disagreeing with you?

Have you ever had someone laughing at you?

Have you ever had someone opposing you?

Have you ever had someone ridiculing your cause against you?

How did it feel?

How did you feel?

How did you react?

What did you do?

What did you say?

Did you feel misunderstood?

Did you feel the need to explain yourself?

Did you feel the need to explain the situation?

Did you feel the need to apologize?

Did you feel the need to complain?

What was the cause that you were fighting for?

What did you believe in?

Were you strong enough to remain focused?

Were you strong enough to pursue your vision?

Did it all go well?

Did something influence your decision?

We all strive for something. Something to achieve, something to pursue, something to succeed in, something to win the battle over with, something to prove, something to show off, something to fight with, etc. etc.

The real question here is whether we remained strong and passionate and powerful and goal oriented or whether we simply given up our hope, given up our willingness to go after the goal, the dream, the achievement, the success.

What if there was something that we strongly believe in and we saw it being laughed at, and ridiculed, and opposed, and make funny faces at, and give names, made hostile, made juvenile, etc.

What would we do in this case?

What would we do in this instance?

What would you do??

The true to told and the fact still remain and that is every new idea, every new proposition, every single new creativity born out of the human mind and brain IS going to be teased, played with, joked with, taken for childlike, childish act of foolishness.

People may be closed minded, narrow minded if you will, with their heart, souls, minds all closed to any idea that has escaped the real scope of the world. It would be taken as a craziness, imagination, nothingness, spineless, with no character of its own whatsoever.

If it was not born and bred in my own mind and head, it could not possibly work. If it did not come out of my heart and soul, it could not possibly exist and be possible.

That is a non-sense and we all know that in one way or the other.

Would you be able to recall a situation, an instance, an example from your own life?

Would you be able to think and come up with one or two ideas of your own?

Why would people be like that?

Is there a way to explain this?

How would you go about solving this issue?

Someone we love and someone we deeply care about could be in jeopardy, could be hurting, could be in danger, could be taken for granted, could be taken advantage of, could be sad, could be upset, could be made angry, could be saddened by something someone else has said to him/her, could be laughed at and ridiculed, could be made fun of, could be called names, could be pitched at, could be lonely, could be hopeless, could be discouraged, could be sensitive to certain talks, videos, audios, could be closed minded, could be faded, could be foolish, could be narrow minded, could be disempowered, could behave childlike, etc. etc.

How would you see that?

What would you your reaction?

What would be your next step?

Would you go and fight for his/her rights?

Would you go and fight for your own rights?

Would you still stand firmly and strongly behind what you believe in?

Would you stand behind your friends?

Would you scream out loud for what you strongly believe in?

Would you shout out loud for what you strongly believe in?

Would you cry out loud for what you strongly believe in?

Would you go with the crowd?

Would you follow the crowd?

Would you stand up and stand out?

Would you stand out of the crowd?

Would you be an example?

Would you set the way to follow?

Would you be a follower?

Would you be a leader?

If you want to see and to experience a change, why not start with you?

Why not start the revolution of everything, of anything that needs to be acknowledged, all that needs to be taken care of, all that needs to be paid attention to?

Why not bring all the people together and do just that?

Yes, there is going to be a pain.

Yes, there are going to be arguments.

And yes, there may be wars and fights.

Yes, people are going to disagree on things.

Yes, there needs to be a referendum.

Yes, there needs to and is going to be a compromise made.

Are we going to simplify our lives?

Are we going to make our lives more difficult?

Are we going to work together toward a shared goal?

Are we going to work together toward a mutual plan?

Are we going to work together toward a sane agreement?

People make mistakes. Some learn the hard way, some let ourselves learn from the teachers, the movers and the shakers, those who have been there and done that already.

Those who know the path, the way, the clues of success, the journey, the shortcuts, the lessons, the books, the learning, the mistakes, the faults, the enemies, the setbacks, the cutbacks, the missed opportunities, the hidden challenges, the still open opportunities and ways.

Why route are you going to take?

How would you base your decision on?

Would you be proactive or reactive?

Would you become uptight or would you surround and embrace?

There is going to be opposition. That only means and states that you were brave and strong and bold and cold and courageous enough to stand up, to get up and do something.

Jealousy only proves you have been flattered, you are INTERESTING in the eyes of others!!!

I know a great deal of everything about nothing!

I know a great deal of everything about nothing!

Have you ever felt this way about everything, about anything?

Been there, done that, seen it all, heard it all, experienced it all, a go to get person, a know-it-all around person.

Are you that kind of person?

Are you that sort of person?

Do you know all the answers to every single posed question?

It has been said that the true learning really occurs when we realize we know nothing or so little about everything, about anything.

The joy of wonder, the joy of exploring, the joy of discovering, the joy of curiosity, the joy of pondering, the joy of realizing, the joy of ‘aha’ moments in our life is priceless, of course.

Have you had that experience, that total bliss when you just simply did not know, you let yourself go with the flow, you let yourself to listen to your gut feeling, your intuition, your deep seated instincts down within you.

Are you having a trouble implementing your ideas into practice?

How come that is it so hard to take an action, to take a bold step, to step out of our comfort zone, to make a move, to act, to speak up, to stand up for something we strongly believe in!

I believe you have heard the saying: talk is cheap! And yes, it is and it is true.

Nothing really happens until we act, until something moves, until something changes form.

When it comes to knowledge, we are limitless, there are endless options here, numerous opportunities to learn, to study, to explore, to experience.

Let us suppose and assume that this is the case. All the knowledge and all the learning from the world we are already in possession. Do you not think that this would be a very boring way to live? What else would be there for us to learn, to study, to experience, to explore?

Can we do and be more than that?

Would becoming more still, more quiet, more graceful, more grateful, more appreciative, more peaceful be of any help and use to us?

Or shall we just say and pretend that we know everything about anything?

Or shall we just say and pretend that we know nothing about anything?

As we evolve, as we develop, as we grow on our personal developmental journey, we may realize how much we actually really know about many things around us in general, about many stuff around us in general, about the little things around us in general, about the big things around us in general, about all that matters around us and in our lives in general.

Our speech and talk and step and walk become slower, more graceful, more grateful, more still, more peaceful, more steadier, more giving, more loving, more forgiving, more appreciative, more apologizing in a humble way, more approaching to the simple things in life, more forgetting the unimportant stuff, more wholesome, more concentrating on others as opposed to us and only us.

Shall I go on?

Do we really have all the answers?

Do we really hold a degree in know it all attitude?

Do we really succeed in everything and anything that we ever wished to succeed in?

Or is there more to learn?

Is there more to gain?

Is there more to give?

Is there more to explore?

Is there more to experience?

Is there more to teach?

Is there more to forgive?

Is there more to study?

Is there more to be grateful about?

Is there more to be appreciative about?

Is there more to be graceful about?

Do we have any idea what so ever what the other person is feeling?

Do we have any idea what so ever what the other person is experiencing?

Do we have any idea what so ever what the other person is going through?

Have we done this or that thing before?

Have we been there before?

How do we know what is right and what is wrong?

Who decides about what is right and what is wrong?

Is there something you feel that is not right?

Is there something you feel is not working properly?

Is there something you feel is not working very well?

Can we transform and change ourselves into being more for others?

Do you feel that there is something that should be done differently?

What would you do?

What would you say?

Our lives are complex. We are complex creatures.

What is there to be fixed?

What is there that needs a transformation?

Who is there that perhaps needs to be fixed?

Who is there that perhaps needs a transformation?

Where would we go in order to enquire a great deal of knowledge?

Where would we go in order to enquire a great deal of experience?

Where would we go in order to enquire a great deal of advice?

Where would we go in order to enquire a great deal of support?

Where would we go in order to enquire a great deal of help?

Being able to listen to our inner voice, our instinct, our hunch, our intuition, our gut feeling, is the way to go. What does it tell it to you? What does it want you to see? What does it want you to do?

Recognize what you know, what you still have to learn and improve on (there is something!), how can you work on improving your situation, how can you make yourself more useful to others and yourself, as well?

What is there left for you to learn?

What is there still left for you to acknowledge?

What is there still left for you to see through?

What is there left for you to understand?

What is there left for you to see more clearly?

What is there left for you to love more and more?

Would you dare to admit it to yourself?!?

"Nothing will make you feel younger than being a beginner at something again."

Thank you.

Pain in inevitable. Suffering is optional!

Pain in inevitable. Suffering is optional!

That is a biggie.

That is a huge subject.

That is an enormous topic to cover.

What would you choose?

What would you pick?

What would you decide?

Where would we start?

How about with the saying that we always have a choice!!

We always have a choice in any given situation, in any given circumstance, at any given opportunity, at any given time, in every given place.

We can always decide our response to any given situation.

Not to react or overreact, yet be proactive and profound.

What our response is going to be?

Are we going to be saddened by the occasion, by the situation, by the circumstance, by the whole concept OR are we going to look a fear into an eye, and face it, face the challenge, look and search for the learning lesson that is always there for us to understand.

In life, the good news is (!) we are going to get hurt, we are going to experience pain, we are going to experience suffering, and we are going to experience the struggling parts as well.

There is no way to miss on those opportunities, there is no way to go around it.

The only thing that matters here is what we are going to do about it, what our response it going to be, how we are going to respond.

There is a moment, between the circumstance and the action we are going to take. And that is exactly what I am talking about, that is exactly what I am referring to. And that very moment is all that matters to us and the people around us and those who depend on us.

Not to decide is a decision made in itself. Not to make a decision is a decision made in itself.

Are we going to give in and give out to the pain of suffering? Is the suffering going to win the war over us? Or are we equipped enough for this war? Do we have all the necessary tools for this war? What are we going to use? How are we going to respond? How are we going to react? Who or what are we going to bring along? What is our decision about the situation going to be? Who are we going to consider or what are we going to consider while making this decision? What or who would help us to decide?
Would you like to have a pain? You will have it. Like it or not. It is going to come, it is going to haunt you, it is going to teach you a lesson a two, it is going to try to be a friend with you, it is going to influence you in one way or the other.

Suffering, however, is our choice. We decide whether our decision is going to be based of fear or on a learning curve. We and only us is going to decide if we are going to suffer and if we are going to look for a solution out of the situation we find ourselves in. Suffering is optional. It is not the end all and be all thing. We have it in our hand and we are going to handle our hand in the best way possible given to us at the certain and given time, also.

Would you have any situations, any examples, any instances where you have used the pain you experience for a better part of you? What was the occasion and how did you handle it all?

On the less apparent note, would you also have a situation which you did not handle as well as you imagined you would have or wished the circumstance would be handled by you? What was the instance and who or what else was involved in it? How come you performed the way you did? Was it brutally not that well at all?

Seeing it from this point of view, with the knowledge at this time, with the resources at hand in this very place, would you look at the situation differently? What would you change? By stepping away from the entire concept and looking it through different set of eyes, as if through a different person, how would you decide now? Would your decision be based on a different set of questions or entirely different one? Would you ask someone for help this time? Or would you do it all alone again? Has much changed since then? What has changed and what has remained the same, the same as the things always have been?

So, your journey has not been a smooth one, right? You have experienced a few bumps here and there along the way, a bumpy road everywhere you possibly look, a slippery slope has become your nickname. How to go about getting out if this situation, how to go about getting out of the rut? The life was meant for more?

Could you look for someone who has done that and been there and thus advise you on a best possible approach and tell you not to panic and not to pack up your luggage yet?

Is there such a person to you and for you available?

Or better yet, can you be this kind of person for someone else who desperately needs it? Have you enquired enough knowledge, enough know-how, enough expertise, enough self-confidence, self-analyzation, self-reflection, enough deep inner self work?

The life you lead is entirely in your hands, the reaction you hold toward any given situation that has been thrown at you along the way is all that matters and again, it is up to you what your stand is going to be. You cannot go back and redo the past but you can always make a new beginning. You can overwrite your story with the pencil in your hand that suits to you and only you and fits with your liking.

So I say No More Suffering!!!

 J

Living in this day and age, we have been literally bombarded with opportunities and options in regards to travelling and gaining experiences and living and working and holidaying abroad.

While being away and when getting lost, we are simultaneously finding ourselves and discovering ourselves and creating ourselves all at the same time!

Travelling away, experiencing a different culture, eating and tasting different and interesting food, meeting new, interesting, fun people while making new friends along the way, living in a foreign country, speaking and learning foreign language, buying and bargaining, getting lost and asking for direction, getting to know the local produce, the local transport, the local people, the local traditions, the local sightseeing, the local landmarks, the local tourists spots that and even more is offering to us in all its beauty for us to touch, to feel, to grab, to grasp, to sense, to embrace, to enjoy, to experience it.

Travelling to me means and represents a challenge, stepping outside my comfort zone, doing something that I have never done before, being somewhere I have never been before, experience things that I have never had an opportunity to taste and experience before.

For me it is an opening myself to new possibilities and opportunities, new options that I may have never ever opted for myself, new openings, new journeys, new routes and roads to take on, to embark on, windows and doors opening that I may have never even considered before, falling in love with the place, with the people, with the local kitchen, with the culture, with the landmarks, with the sightseeing, with the local church, with everything for my very first time, straight in a head over the heels way.

I have definitely and certainly done my share of travelling and am still open to new options and possibilities. The sky is the limit and my mind is open in this way in more ways imaginable.

Most of the time, I have been travelling alone or in some instances with my sister and friends on shorter trips and adventures.

Yes, it is not an easy road to take and to embark on, it is not an easy decision to make. They are consequences and they are reasons good enough for going after it. However, never the less, one must be smart and wise and advised enough and content enough with the journeys that are going to come along the way, the very good ones, the good ones, the not so very good ones, and all in between, as well, too.

You may go on without seeing your family and friends back then for months, even years, as in my own example, from my very own experience. You may struggle, feel lonely, be totally and brutally alone, feel homesick, want to give up million times over, you may want to cry and sob, and burst into tears, you may also feel euphoria, a total joy, or total sadness, a total bliss and contentment and happiness, or you may be and feel desperation, you may think you will conquer the world and come out stronger and braver and a better human being than the one who has entered the world and the war!

But then again, how come the things don’t go as you planned, as they should go anyway?

How come no one understands your trouble, your sorrow, your sickness of everything and anything and everybody and anybody.

Is it possible at all to come out of this hole, to come out of this loophole and still feel victorious, still feel there is no need to fight the battle, you already are the winner just for showing up, just for taking that bold and courageous step, just for taking an action?

Who has ever done that and succeed?

Could that be you OR is that you?? J

Please, I would love to hear your comments!!

Much, much appreciated… J
