‘’If you build it, they will come’’

‘’If you build it, they will come’’

Are you a believer?

ü  Do you have dreams that you hope and wish come true?

ü  Are you striving and aiming to achieving your aspirations and your ambitions?

ü  Are you concentrating on the Main Things?

ü  Are you working towards the Things That Matter The Most?

ü  Do you have desires? Oh no hang on, let me answer that one for you: You bet I do!!

ü  What wakes you up in the morning, what gets you up and what keeps you up in the evening, what keeps you wide awake at night?

ü  What brings you joy, happiness, smiles?

ü  What makes you happy? J

ü  Have you been learning from your mistakes?

ü  Are you building something and working on it and looking for solutions?

ü  Are you dreaming of creating something big?

ü  Is there a burning desire deep inside of you?

I have recently been tried and tested. And I still am, actually. Those ‘things’ have made me, and not broken me. Nothing is meant to break us. You see, I am blogging away. That means, there must have been a way!

Ø  If you believe the impossible, the incredible can come true.

Ø  Get into your Flow, and then let go!

Ø  Happiness is the answer, it is your ticket to success!

What is the morale of the story then?

Determine what it is that you what, that what you are after. Let nothing interfere with it! Chief object of your desire is the thing you should be fighting for!

Your effort, energy, time, belief all play their part in the game.

Consequently, your thoughts must be lined up with your beliefs.

What are YOUR dreams ???????????????????????????????????????????????
I know I can do it. You can do it. We can do it!!

Keep your eyes wide open for my next blog J

Thank you and keep on dreaming!!

RELY ON YOURSELF

RELY ON YOURSELF

How many real, and I mean REAL, friends do we have over the course of our life??

Are ‘THEY’ easy to find?

Who are your friends?

Are you lucky enough to have any?

Who do you count amongst your friends?

Our personality is being shaped by the 5 closest people who we surround ourselves with on a daily basis. Our income reflects that as well. Run the test for yourself, if you will. J

No one will ever care about ourselves as much as we (should!) care about ourselves. That may sound harsh but it is the knowledge that has been passed on from generation to generation. And it is a fact. And it is actually good thing to know and act accordingly for that matter. We should be our greatest teachers and learners/students. We are the captains of our ships. We know the best way with which to stir it, what is best for us, how we feel, what makes us happy!

Who are the very ones you could call on or fall back on in the middle of the night if need be?

Who are the ones you could count on?

Where are the ones you could account for?

Do they, and most importantly, do YOU have their numbers saved in your cell??

Have you been letting them know and telling them how much and what they mean to you?

Life is short. Make it a worthwhile. There is no urge about that. People come and go and some of them stay. Look and search for those who are here with you for a longer haul.

However, having said that, there is no reason to depend on them for your own happiness. No one can possibly make you happy. This is no one’s job but yours! This is your responsibility!

You have got to rely on yourself, own your circumstances and lead your own life like a king and a leader!
I am not against friends, family, etc. etc.. I am all for that and more! All I am saying it that at the end of the day, the one and only person who will be looking in the very eye in the mirror is no one else but…
YOU!!!

Make sure that the reflection back (the one that the mirror gives you back!) is of the authentic one, spontaneous, if possible and a happy one J   Satisfied with the result – with the product – with the person that is YOU!!

There has never been, is not and never will be the same, exact person just like YOU!!

You Are Unique. Just like a snowflake. Just like a fingerprint. Just like yourself! ;-)

You have unique traits and abilities, dreams and wishes that you have come here to fulfil!

No one can walk this journey for you. You hold the compass in your hand and the map in the other!! Of course, it is wise and recommended to ask for a help, an advice and guidance.

There are going to be times when you are going to feel lonely. Cherish those moments. Treat them as times to learn about yourself. In actuality, you are never alone. There is always someone with you 24/7/365(6) and that person is, yes, you have guessed: it is YOU again! The one with whom you ever spend the most time!

Rely on only and just yourself!

Rely on anyone but yourself!

What are YOUR insights, opinions, views, experiences, personal learning, circumstances, thoughts, findings, feedbacks on today’s subject??

And Good Luck on your journey of discovering yourself……………. A journey that is always under construction!

I DEMAND MORE OF MYSELF THAT ANYONE ELSE COULD EVER EXPECT!!

I DEMAND MORE OF MYSELF THAT ANYONE ELSE COULD EVER EXPECT!!

Find something worth dying for and then live for it!

Raise your standard!

Give something back by becoming more !!!!

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl is a highly recommended book.

Here are some quotes I chose that could not have been written better:

  • A man's character became involved to the point that he was caught in a mental turmoil which threatened all the values he held and threw them into doubt. Under the influence of a world which no longer recognized the value of human life and human dignity, which had robbed man of his will and had made him an object to be exterminated (having planned, however, to make full use of him first—to the last ounce of his physical resources)— under this influence the personal ego finally suffered a loss of values. If the man in the concentration camp did not struggle against this in a last effort to save his self-respect, he lost the feeling of being an individual, a being with a mind, with inner freedom and personal value. He thought of himself then as only a part of an enormous mass of people; his existence descended to the level of animal life.

  • We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts
comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but
they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the
human freedoms—to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own
    way.

  • Dostoevsky said once, "There is only one thing that I dread: not to be worthy of
my sufferings." These words frequently came to my mind after I became acquainted with those
martyrs whose behaviour in camp, whose suffering and death, bore witness to the fact that the last
inner freedom cannot be lost. It can be said that they were worthy of their sufferings; the way they
bore their suffering was a genuine inner achievement. It is this spiritual freedom— which cannot be
taken away—that makes life meaningful and purposeful.

  • An active life serves the purpose of giving man the opportunity to realize values in creative work,
while a passive life of enjoyment affords him the opportunity to obtain fulfilment in experiencing
beauty, art, or nature. But there is also purpose in that life which is almost barren of both creation
and enjoyment and which admits of but one possibility of high moral behaviour: namely, in man's
attitude to his existence, an existence restricted by external forces. A creative life and a life of
enjoyment are banned to him. But not only creativeness and enjoyment are meaningful. If there is a
meaning in life at all, then there must be a meaning in suffering. Suffering is an ineradicable part of
life, even as fate and death. Without suffering and death human life cannot be complete.
The way in which a man accepts his fate and all the suffering it entails, the way in which he takes up
his cross, gives him ample opportunity—even under the most difficult circumstances—to add a deeper meaning to his life. It may remain brave, dignified and unselfish. Or in the bitter fight for self preservation he may forget his human dignity and become no more than an animal. Here lies the
chance for a man either to make use of or to forgo the opportunities of attaining the moral values
that a difficult situation may afford him. And this decides whether he is worthy of his sufferings or
    not.

Things that you dislike in others are the very things you have not (yet!) learn to love about yourself !!!

Things that you dislike in others are the very things you have not (yet!) learn to love about yourself !!!

So true! J

Have you ever thought of the meaning of the statement written above?

It is so profound, yet so simple!

If you are sad, negative, depressed – you are not helping anyone!

If you are a caring, kind, compassionate, understanding, forgiving, thoughtful, considerate, happy, positive, respectful, loyal, honest, friendly and willing individual – you are a contributor then!

Are there any things in others that irritate you, disturb you, bug you, trigger and upset you or make you angry??

Learn to love the things you ‘hate’ about yourself, and the things you dislike about others disappear!

So many times have we been maybe saying and praying that how much we wished this person would change?? And what would be the answer??

I will change as soon as you change!!

Being grateful for every person who ever enters into your life is the answer. Every encounter is here for a reason, to teach us a lesson or two!

The people who we cannot stand the MOST, are the ones and here to bring the BEST in ourselves!

Embrace those people, learn from them and appreciate them for bringing out the points in you that call out for an improvement!

How would you otherwise know that you are living your very best possible version of yourself than having someone pointing those targets to you right in front of your very eyes??

Simplify your life. And YES, it is possible!!

ALWAYS BEGIN WITH YOURSELF FIRST!!!  Or in another words... Change yourself first!!

All you have to do is to accept the challenge!

It is simple, but not necessarily easy! J

What are your thoughts on today’s topic? Please, do share and comment! Thank you a million!!

Good Luck and All the Best!

IT IS NOT WHAT YOU ACHIEVE IN YOUR LIFE, IT IS ALL ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE BECOME (while you were going after it and achieving it)!!

IT IS NOT WHAT YOU ACHIEVE IN YOUR LIFE, IT IS ALL ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE BECOME (while you were going after it and achieving it)!!

Are you a high achiever?

Do you have your goals all written down?

Or are you asking: what goals am I talking about??

Are you going with the flow?

Are you a procrastinator?

·         We all want to be successful, prosperous, happy, healthy & wealthy & wise (if not already!), surrounded by loving family, children, friends. No one wants to be a failure (if there ever was such a thing!) That is a human nature, it is already embedded in us, it is our soul, inner wisdom, instinct. That is our human need. That is our basic need. Every one has it. No matter who you are!

·         However there could be several routes to how to go about achieving that sensation of freedom, that feeling of success, that liberation of our own.

·         Now, please, do not get me wrong. I am all about goal setting. Writing your goals down on a paper (been there, done that!). I am a big fan of knowing WHAT YOU WANT!!

·         Pressure is how diamonds are made!! We need a momentum. We are supposed to be growing, learning, advancing - daily.

·         Carrot & Stick approach/strategy that refers to a policy of offering a combination of promised rewards and punishment (threatened penalty) has surely its advantages.

·         We, as human beings (not human doings!), are here for a purpose. We all have a task to do here that we need to search for, look for, find it and fulfil it.

·         Retirement/Stagnation is not an option here! J So you may as well forget it!! J

·         The point I have been drawing up here is the following: We are supposed to become the best possible version of ourselves. The greatest individuals at the best, to say the least!

·         Are we becoming more loving, generous, helping and helpful, more giving, and happier, more fulfilled, more satisfied. Or is the opposite closer to the truth? Where do you stand?

·         The reason I am asking, the point I am making and stressing is THAT DECISION WILL MAKE OR BREAK OUR LIFE!! It is what the life’s journey is made of and make up!! J

I believe we are on the right path…

The past is NOT EQUAL the future!!!

The past is NOT EQUAL the future!!!

I am not my behaviour. I am a human being, not a human doing!

Just because you did not succeed in the past, DOES NOT mean and guarantee that you are not going to win THIS TIME!

Progress equals happiness.

It is your life. You are a creator. You are in a driver’s seat. You are the leader. Your life is in your hands. It is up to you and only you. You are the boss. You are your very own CEO.

Do you have a dream? Well, of course, you do! We all do! In one way or the other.

We have all had our own share of set-backs and challenges. We have also had our very own successes. We all know how both taste.

For instance…

Have you been disappointed recently? What was the cause of your disappointment?

Was it…

ü  Disappointment in love?
ü  Disappointment in career?
ü  Disappointment in family affairs?
ü  Disappointment in your friends?
ü  Disappointment in your health?
ü  Disappointment in your exercise?
ü  Disappointment in yourself?
ü  Disappointment in (fill in the blank!)?

Well, here is the good news for you: You have another chance to make any improvements to your situation, to your circumstance!! You can go ahead and try again and again and again and again if needs be! If you do not like something, well, change it then! Even though it was not working for us in the past, in the previous 16 years, in a moment ago, in an hour ago, in a week ago, yesterday, does not mean anything! All it matters NOW is what we are going to do NOW! Are we going to give up OR brush ourselves off, dust ourselves off and move on? Are we going to complain and behave like victims of our life? OR are we going to get up and act as victors?

It is all in our state of mind.

The person who wins is the one that thinks he is the winner and he will!

The person who never makes mistakes is the one who never does anything!

Never let your future be at the stake of your past. This moment is everything you have!
MAKE THE MOST OF IT!!!

o   What are your life’s lessons?
o   What are your expectations?
o   What are you dreams?
o   What are you willing to give in return?

Enjoy the process, relax and smell the flowers, have some fun along the way, … and Never Ever Give Up !!

Blog to you soon! J

Do NOT burn ALL your Bridges

Do NOT burn ALL your Bridges

Do you see things only as black and white??

Are you playing YES or NO game or SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN?

Are you viewing opportunities as only my way OR a high way?

I can see it as:

-          -  YES
-         -  NO
-         -  MAYBE

We always have a choice. Always! No matter what!
What we do with it is all that matters!! YES!

We all do our best with the resources at hand and at the particular moment.

The today’s topic can be applied to any relationship. From employee and employers, friendships, co-workers, ex lovers, siblings, flatmates, business partners, teacher and student relation, neighbours, landlord vs. tenant, husband and wife,  boyfriends, girlfriends to school mates, etc. etc.

It is so easy to slip, so easy to be tempted, so easy to stick our tongue out and do our own thing. However, people have feelings such as much as we have!

The person to whom we have just told off could have been our tomorrow’s best friend! Or your employer! Or you soul-mate (whatever that means to you!)! Or someone who could have saved your/our life in 2 weeks’ time!

It always makes more sense to finish on a peaceful note, to not have any resentments toward each other, to not hold any grudges with one another, to end on speaking terms, if possible!

There is no need to be enemies. Actually we should strive to work things out to the advantage and benefit to both parties. Let us be open and look for the intentions of the other person. If we are really, really willing to search for these, we WILL find them, we WILL be successful!

I have had relationships that came, some have gone and some I am currently in. I have been the sort of person who is curious about people, investing in them and believing in them. Some of them have made a lasting impression on me, some ‘just’ scratched the surface (such as a bank teller, however I am interested in being great friends, of course!). Nevertheless, in my eyes, they have come into my life for a reason and that make me think and decide to treat every one of them in a special way.

How about YOU and YOUR Bridges!!

Have you burnt yours already?

or

Are they burning at the moment?

or

Have they never burnt at all?

Thank you and please do share and comment. Feedback and All much, much appreciated! J

No One Is An Island

No One Is An Island

We, people, are social creatures!

No one makes it alone!

Cooperation, that is!

We need, I dare to say, we crave (!) human contact and human touch! We were born to interact with one another! We are meant to collide and to keep bumping into one another!

We are all connected together and to each other! Our brains, our hearts, our minds. Like it or not! Have you ever experienced a feeling when you were thinking of someone and then soon right afterwards that someone has phoned you, or has emailed you or has sent you a letter? Well, that is what I am referring to!

Our thoughts are connected, we vibrate on a similar level, like attracts like. I have experienced it myself, of course! The connection, the feelings, the thoughts, the vibration, the sensation.

OUR MINDS ARE INTERWEAVEN. I recommend you try it for yourself! You will be happily surprised!

There is no successful person who has made it on his/her own. We need master mind of like-minded people who aim to achieve the same goals, people who have high standards, who are on the same wavelength as us, who are in sync with us and who shoot high just like us!

We are here to help each other, to reach out, to branch out, we are meant to stretch our hands and our hearts to others! We must build one another up, grow together and learn from and about each other!

I learnt it the hard way! Avoid the mistakes of being too proud to admit it. Learn from your past!

WE ALL NEED HELP from time to time!

No matter how successful you are, no matter what your background is, no matter what your religious is, no matter what education you have had, no matter how many seminars you have gone to, no matter how many course you have taken and undertaken!

v  Are you living your life as you want it to be and go?

v  Are you setting yourself up for a success?

v  Are you living up to your full potential?

v  Are you happy with how things are going/working for you at the moment?

v  Are you reaching out to others for help/advice?

v  Are you asking yourself what is it you are meant to do here?

v  Are you happy, satisfied OR is there something missing in your life?

v  Are you striving and thriving to make your dreams a reality?

v  Are you stuck in a rut?

v  Are you nice, cosy and warm in your comfort zone OR do you dare to step out?

There is always another level, another step to take, another goal to reach, another book to read, another person to meet and encounter, another task to take and accomplish, another X, another Y, another Z!!

Good Luck !!!

Thank you for taking your time to read my blog post!! J

In order to see things differently, YOU have got to change!!

In order to see things differently, YOU have got to change!!

What is your point of view? How do you see things from your point of view? How do they look like to you? How do they seem? How do they feel?

Are there any things in your life and you wish them to be different, to change?? I bet they are! J

The above statement could not possibly be said any clearer!

It is what you make of it!! Period. Full stop.

Take a look at the truths below and have a think about how these apply to you:

Sow a thought => Reap an action
Sow an action => Reap a habit
Sow a habit => Reap a character
Sow a character => Reap a destiny

We make decisions daily. Sometimes they are minor, sometimes they require our full attention.

It is all in the way we look at things. It is about the perspective we hold toward to what has happened to us. We always have a choice. We can be happy OR we can be sad. We cannot smile and feel desperate at the same time. Try it and let me know the results you have accomplished. We can struggle and concentrate on all the things that have been going ‘’wrong’’ for us OR we can behave and act positively and look for solutions to our challenges and search for the lessons and opportunities that will arise along with our makings’ of our minds!

So which path are YOU choosing?

I believe we each have a desire to do well, achieve greatness and be happy and make those around us happy till the end of times! Actually, I am sure of it, I know this to be true! The point is that we cannot be, do, have and give that which we do not do, have, give and who we are not! Let us become examples, let us be leaders and take a lead!

We have only this moment! Nothing more, nothing less. Let us recognize it and use it to our own best ability!! When we next wake up, our day will turn the way our lips will turn. Let us make it a happy one then! J

Everything that has ever happened to us did happen for our greatest good! There are no mistakes, no accidents. If we see things as opportunities for us to advance, to grow, lessons to learn about ourselves and life around us, if we use them to help ourselves and the people around us – we will greatly contribute to the community in which we live! The reverse will then have an opposite effect, of course!

Being grateful is what we all should be doing on a daily basis. Be happy with what you have, cherish it and be thankful. Appreciate the little things, the people, animals, nature and all that surrounds you! Give thanks and look at the bright side of life. See always the glass as half full and feel/taste the doughnut, not the hole in it! J

That is the way it is!

How have you decided today to have your day go??
It is just up to you, you know…………………………… J

Thank you and, please, feel free to share and comment!
Tons appreciated! J
I will talk to you soon!
